Conversational Threads is more than a retail space that carries a wide range of high quality natural fibers from many US and international companies and a huge number of large and small hand-dyers at very competitive prices, plus an enormous supply of needles and a variety of notions for function and fun - it's also a fantastic community of makers you won't want to miss!
Open since 2009 and begun because of a need for a local place to buy yarn by indie dyers, Conversational Threads has grown into over 2500 square feet of the best and most beautiful
hand-dyed and commercial yarns available in the Mid-Atlantic region.

New Information Regarding Parking For
Conversational Threads - Good News!!
There is a new Emmaus Borough Free Parking lot (shown in the photo below in green) which is available for parking for free on stays of up to 3 hours. The lot is a very short walk from the front door of Conversational Threads (shown in the photo in red).
There is a Wells Fargo sign at the entrance to the parking lot, but that just indicates that there is a Wells Fargo ATM also located in that parking lot. There currently is a pay-to-park kiosk still in the parking lot, but there is no need to use it, it just has not yet been removed.
